Mae Mae's factory in Samut Prakan has 13,000 m² of production space, 400 staff, 24-hour operation and more than 50,000 m² of land ready for expansion. Every step — prepress, printing, die-cutting, finishing, assembly and inspection — is under one roof. This page explains what is inside and what each part means for your job.
Prepress and colour control
An automated prepress workflow checks every file before printing — bleed, resolution, barcodes and colour — and online approval lets you sign off proofs from anywhere. Colour proofs are made on a wide-format inkjet proofer, dielines and white folding carton samples are cut on a digital cutting table, an automated spectral scanning table profiles every material we print on, and one ERP system links your quotation to delivery.

Structural design and mock-ups
Every new folding carton or die-cut part starts as a dieline drawn by the structural design team in CAD. A digital cutting table then cuts a white sample from the actual board — no die, no plate — so you can check fit, fold and how the box behaves on your packing line before anything is tooled. Because the dies are made in-house, a change at this stage costs nothing but a new drawing.
Digital label presses
Most label jobs run digitally on several digital presses — including the latest HP Indigo model, which Mae Mae was the first factory in Thailand to install with conventional label presses alongside them for the jobs that suit them. Our digital presses print with water-based, environmentally friendly ink at offset-class quality, with white underlayers on clear and metallic stocks, or with UV ink of high lightfastness for labels exposed to sun and moisture. Digital finishing and roll-to-roll digital cutting apply coatings, foil and any die-cut shape without tooling.
Folding cartons
Folding-carton lines
The folding-carton lines run multi-colour sheet-fed offset presses in several formats, including an extra-large format for big folding cartons and high-yield layouts. Finishing is all in-house: aqueous and UV coaters, a film laminator, a spot coater, a hot-foil press, automatic flatbed die-cutters, a PET window patcher and automatic folder-gluers — with dies made in our own die shop.
